Radiation Emergency Procedures

A radiation emergency is defined as any unplanned event that results in an increased potential for exposure of individuals to ionizing radiation from radioactive material or radiation producing devices. Individuals are expected to follow the Radiation Emergency Procedures" that are required to be posted in each area where radioactive materials are permitted to be used or stored.
